June 29, 2022 (Las Vegas, NV) — What better way to celebrate this holiday weekend than a hot dog eating contest followed by a fireworks show!? That’s exactly what fans will get at this Saturday’s Las Vegas Lights FC professional soccer match (Sat., July 2nd vs. Detroit; kick-off 7:30pm).
The halftime hot dog eating contest will feature up to ten (10) contestants battling it out to prove they are the top hot dog eaters in the Valley with the winner taking home the grand prize of free Jarritos soda for a year!

The match will culminate in a fireworks extravaganza presented by Red Apple Fireworks with fans being invited onto the field afterwards to run around the field, take pictures and shoot soccer balls into the net!
Lights FC will also come into the match with a three-game winning streak — the longest in franchise history! Currently sitting in playoff position, Lights FC will take on Detroit City FC in its first-ever meeting under the lights at Cashman Field in downtown Las Vegas.
