This week, along with the unveiling of the team’s official logo, Las Vegas Lights FC announced its season ticket pricing and benefits for the inaugural season.

With season ticket packages starting at just $200, which includes all exhibition and regular season matches, highlighting the benefits for founding members in 2018 is an included Lights FC jersey for each season ticket holder.

“We wanted to unveil this logo alongside an official announcement of our season ticket pricing. With the inclusion of a Lights FC jersey for each inaugural full season ticket holder, plus other benefits, we’re offering a very appealing and engaging professional sports entertainment value to Las Vegas.”

Lights FC will begin preseason play at Cashman Field in February 2018, with a home schedule of 20-plus matches running through at least October 2018. While sharing Cashman Field during the inaugural season with the Las Vegas 51s, the stadium and playing surface will be converted to a fully natural grass playing turf to provide an intimate, authentic soccer environment for each home game.

Las Vegas Lights FC has unveiled a logo that is by the fans, for the fans and of the fans, with elements inspired by hundreds of fan submissions. The result is a logo unique in many ways, capturing the essence of the city that Lights FC will represent when it begins play in the United Soccer League in February 2018.

“First and foremost, we wanted our fans and supporters in Las Vegas to lead the process of developing our official logo, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result,” said Brett Lashbrook, team owner and CEO of Lights FC. “The logo plays into the look and feel of Las Vegas, most notably Fremont Street, right down the road from our home at Cashman Field.

The official team colors – blue, yellow and pink – are all taken from the official City of Las Vegas logo, with the neon element being a natural fit, as Lights FC will play all home games just steps from the famous Neon Museum and a few blocks from Fremont Street. The logo’s crest design shape mimics the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign – rotated 90 degrees. The logo is accented with another Las Vegas signature, with the pink star at the bottom of the logo.

“We are one of the first professional sports teams in the world to fully embrace pink as one of our official team colors, but I think this just shows the type of swagger and edge that we collectively carry as a city, and our team will carry that onto the pitch every match,” Lashbrook said. “It shows that we are going to fully embrace doing things differently while also providing an authentic, exciting soccer experience to everyone who comes and watches a match at Cashman Field.”

LAS VEGAS – Scott Frasnelly joins Las Vegas Lights Football Club (FC) as the Vice President of Ticket Sales, where he will oversee ticket sales for the Las Vegas’ new professional soccer team as it begins play in the United Soccer League (USL) in 2018.

With an extensive background in the sports industry, Frasnelly has served as a high-ranking executive for many professional sports clubs across the United States, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer for the San Francisco Bulls professional hockey club. In addition, Frasnelly has served as an executive staff member at the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) office and is a founding partner of the online ticketing platform, iSports Tix. Most recently, Frasnelly moved to Las Vegas from Charleston, SC, where he oversaw all sales and marketing operations for the South Carolina Stingrays.

LAS VEGAS – Steve Pastorino has been hired as Vice President, Corporate Partnerships for the Las Vegas Lights Football Club (Las Vegas Lights FC). In his role, Pastorino will be responsible for the commercialization of Las Vegas’ newest team, including the highest profile sponsorship in global sports, advertising on the front of the team jersey. 
 
Born in Venezuela and raised throughout Latin America and the U.S., Pastorino has significant experience launching sports franchises across the country. Pastorino was the first General Manager at Real Salt Lake when the team joined Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2004 and has led sales and marketing efforts for the Chicago Fire during the first seven seasons. Steve comes to Las Vegas most recently from the Oakland A’s, where he was Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships.
 
“Soccer, and particularly the growth of the sport in an increasingly diverse United States, has always been my passion,” said Pastorino. “We are creating a legacy for everyone in the southern Nevada community to live, love and share the world’s most popular game for generations to come.”

LAS VEGAS — (Aug. 11, 2017) — On the heels of an exciting three weeks of new market expansion, United Soccer League (USL) officials — alongside team owner Brett Lashbrook, Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow — announced today that Las Vegas will be the third and final USL expansion franchise to join the league for the 2018 season. The new franchise will play at Cashman Field, located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.

Bundesliga.”

Following the announcement of the franchise, Lashbrook revealed the six potential team names still in the running, including Las Vegas FC, Las Vegas Lights, Las Vegas Action, Viva Vegas, Club Vegas and Las Vegas Silver. The new USL Las Vegas club is owned by Las Vegas resident Brett Lashbrook and his family. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 2015 to be near family, Lashbrook served as Chief Operating Officer to lead Major League Soccer’s expansion team in Orlando, Florida, where he oversaw the Club’s transition from USL to Major League Soccer. In addition, he also previously served as legal counsel and special assistant to the Commissioner’s office at Major League Soccer for seven seasons.

Las Vegas Soccer joins Nashville SC and Fresno FC in joining the USL for the 2018 season. The league also this week announced an expansion franchise for the 2019 season in Birmingham, Alabama and a return to Austin, Texas. As the USL continues to expand into new markets, it requires a vibrant millennial and family population of soccer fans, a strong corporate base, an exceptional ownership group and a proper venue to showcase the sport.
